Prince Edward Island Provincial Nomination draw issues 171 invitations

After its February 21 draw that saw 199 invitations issued, the region of Prince Edward Island under its Provincial Nominee Program held its second-biggest draw on 21 November 2019.

This latest provincial nominee draw which is the second biggest in history of Prince Edward Island’s PNP given an aggregate of 171 invitations. These 171 invites cuts crosswise over three significant streams which are; Labor Impact classification, Business Impact classification and the Express Entry classification.

A sum of 157 applicants of the 171 were invited through the Labor Impact and Express Entry classes. While the remaining 21 applicants were welcomed under the Prince Edward province’ Business Impact: Work Permit Stream.

The applicants from the latter are known to have an expression of interest (EOI) profile enlisted in the region’s Business Impact class.

Expression of interest score of 130 was the base score for those welcomed through this stream in this most recent draw of November 21.

The individuals who wish to work and claim a business on Prince Edward Island are the categories of individuals this stream is intended for.

The 157 applicants invited through the Express Entry and Labor Impact classes no breakdown was given by PEI PNP of what number was Express Entry and what number were Labor impact. Additionally, the base expression of interest scores for these streams was not uncovered by PEI.

These applicants may now apply for a nomination for Canadian permanent residence from the PEI Provincial Nominee Program.

So as to be invited for a Prince Edward Island provincial nomination, Express Entry applicants should initially present an Expression of Interest to the PEI PNP.
